I started the MKE a little late, so I am doing both week 1 and week 2 reading. When I first started to read over the book and the information that was provided for this course, not going to lie I wasn’t sure what I signed up for and wasn’t sure if it was for me or not.
However, I do want to be able to make some changes in my life so I am jumping in head first with this class. Just thought if I could really help train my subconsciousness that literally could change my life, if I need to dedicate a few hours a week to attain something that amazing it’s totally worth it.
A little about me, I was able to determine that I am white with the color code, and learning about what white is and how we interact with different colors has helped me a lot with my family and personal life. Reading the lessons, blueprint builder, and the first scroll I have felt a difference in my life in a short amount of time.
I am learning a lot more about the subconscious and what it is in charge of vs. what the conscious is in charge of. I feel like understanding this is a really good step to take so we know how we can then change our subconscious.
This class reminds me of when I was in college but the only difference is I truly have a desire to understand this instead of just doing enough to get a grade.
I really like how it has us read out loud as well, I have never been much of a reader especially out loud. It seems like when I started to do that I could concentrate a lot more on what I’m reading and I can remember it a lot better.
“An action proved successful today will be unworkable and impractical tomorrow.”
Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, pp 53-54
This line really stood out to me because if you are focused on attaining something and are relying on the same path as someone else you are relying on the same path as someone else who was able to attain it before you. That path might not always be the “way” things change, technology changes, etc. so that causes what was successful yesterday to maybe not be successful today.
Good on you for continuing and catching up you are at the right place at the right time!
What an interesting perspective, Chris. I love the comparison to college, or to any school for that matter. It’s about what we want for US, and your journey is starting off with great intention, so progress is surely yours!
