The work is going on as I have seen a change in my background thinking towards being more action-oriented. I have a renewed focus on what I can do next to bring all the outstanding items down to a manageable quantity.
I got my DMP back this week and there are quite a few changes required. This had me thinking that maybe in the past I was continually changing but not moving towards an endpoint that would then be a guiding reference.
The writing with my non-dominant hand was very interesting as it started out rather neatly but the most striking part was that it did not seem all that strange to me.
One of the interesting things for me during the sit this week is that the more I tried to empty my mind, the more visualizations were coming into my mind. I found that interesting because maybe my mind is showing me all the things that I must register but then empty from one part of my mind in order to have that part of my mind available for the change that I will experience through this MKE course.
As I am doing the sitting and quiet time, I am finding that I want more and more quiet time so that the internal work that needs to happen can proceed at pace. I think this will also help me to get even more clarity on my DMP.
I have been trained to be as succinct as possible so having to write 300 words has been a real challenge for me. It’s not that I don’t have more than three hundred words. It’s more so that I have in my professional life been required to be brief and try to limit how much I go on. In the work of self-discovery, this will have to change in order to get to a better understanding of myself
