“Our difficulties are largely due to confused ideas and ignorance of our true interests.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, Part 2 Intro.

As a red, it has been second nature to try to control things and lack patience. I can tell you that in my experience, that those methods did not work that well for me. So when I read this, it seemed to make perfect sense.

I can say that I was always so busy controlling that I did not stop to figure out my true interests. So, over the years I took personality tests and other tests which would show I should be a good at this, that and the other thing, but those never worked out. So not for the lack of trying. Then I would try harder at something else…bounce, bounce, bouncety, bounce!

I was rather excited when my 2 PPN’s jumped right out at me, Liberty and Recognition for Creative Expression. I can figure out why all of those careers never suited me.

“I must practice the art of patience for nature acts never in haste.”

Og Mandino, The Greatest Salesman in the World, p. 53.

In life, had I sat still long enough to understand how connected to nature I really am, I may have tried a little harder accepting that patience was somewhere inside me. I came closer to finding that aspect of me years ago after a crisis and then took up yoga, but meditation was painful for me.

Luckily, since I began MKE and Color Code, my practice of sitting still in the mornings have gone extraordinarily well! I could actually feel the energy moving in such a way that it seemed to be correcting physical tensions. I realized that humans aren’t “out there” instead of a real part of this amazing synchronistic whole, connected to The Source. That helped me drop some deep programming. Then I had the pleasure of reconnecting and remembering time with my Dad who passed away 11 years ago. Also, I had a sense of the expansion of time. All glorious experiences!

“The subconscious mind perceives by intuition.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, Part 2:19.

This makes perfect sense, but what I didn’t understand was sometimes when I made instant intuitive decisions in the past, on occasion they were a little off.

“These instincts (subconscious) can only be overthrown by an elaborate and gradual process of undermining the innate principles.”

Charles Haanel, The Master Key System, Part 2:22

It is all coming together now. Before age 7, self esteem is set, what you think you can do with your life solidifies and that may narrow the gap on belief considerably.

Since I have started both courses, I find myself smiling to myself more, being grateful more, and turning my mood around quickly. Today I was watching a post on Facebook and he took a photo that looked a bit like a disaster area and reengineered it to be about people helping people and the others who weren’t stepping in were trusting that all would be just fine.

Battleshipping! Oh what fun this is!
